A new issue of 60°north is out

16 March 2007

60ºNorth magazine

The fresh issue of the 60°north magazine published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry tells about life on Finnish farms and forest protection in Finland. Other interesting current topics include the positive health impacts of wild berries, winter fishing, geographic information and bioenergy.

The name of the magazine, 60°north, derives from the location of Finland north of the 60th parallel of latitude. The magazine wishes to show to our European colleagues how this northern location affects our natural resources and their utilisation.

The magazine aims to influence the decision-making in the EU, elucidate Finnish natural resource policy and make the sector better known abroad, and market the Finnish expertise and research on the sector.

The magazine is distributed to European policy makers, officials, lobbyists and journalists, as well as Finnish partners, decision-makers and media.
