In the fresh issue of the 60°north magazine published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry you can read a quite unique joint interview of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sirkka-Liisa Anttila and Minister of the Environment Paula Lehtomäki. The two ministers tell about their views on climate change, efforts to mitigate it as well as adaptation measures.

This issue contains a review on Finnish food and an extensive forest package, with four different types of Finnish forest owners. We also take a look into biodiversity, in both land and water. This latest issue has been prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment.

The name of the magazine, 60°north, derives from the location of Finland north of the 60th parallel of latitude. The magazine wishes to show to our European readers how this northern location affects our natural resources and their utilisation.

The magazine aims to influence the decision-making in the EU, elucidate Finnish natural resource policy and make the sector better known abroad, and market the Finnish expertise and research on the sector. The leading themes which run through all the articles are the northern element, purity and Finnish expertise.

The magazine is distributed to European policy-makers, officials, lobbyists and media, as well as Finnish partners, decision-makers and media.
