Towards sustainable forest management through bilateral cooperation

Finland has bilateral forest cooperation with Russia, China, Turkey, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil. The content of the cooperation is based on the specific mutual interests and special characteristics of forestry in each partner country. The most common themes in the bilateral forest cooperation are the promotion of sustainable forestry, forest and environmental training and education, forest research, forest certification, information systems for forestry and seedling production.
