The State finances the official duties relating to the use and management of water resources and other tasks that, according to the law, are the responsibility of the State. Watercourse and water supply investments are supported as joint projects implemented in cooperation with various stakeholders. Subsidies may be granted for water supply projects. Research and development projects concerning water supply and use of waters may also be eligible for State funding.

- Groundwater inventories

- EU support (ERDF)

From the Employment and Economic Development Centre concerning:

- Basic drainage

- EU support (EAGGF)

- Compensations for flood damages

From the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry concerning:

- Joint research projects
